The young duo from the Chicago Bulls, Zach LaVine and Coby White, had no idea that they will make a historic shooting night against the New Orleans Pelicans. LaVine and White wrote history.
The two of them became the first duo ever to score eight triples each in a single game. In the victory over New Orleans, the Bulls have set up a franchise record of 25 triples made.
LaVine hit nine triples on his way to season-high 46 points, along with four dimes and seven boards. Coby White was also impressive. The 20-year-old guard scored eight triples, racked up 30 points and seven assists to complete a tremendous night for the duo.
Both of them are playing on a high-level so far in the season, and their stat lines can prove it. Zach is on 28.2 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 5.2 APG, while Coby is on 15.5 points with 4.7 boards and 5.4 assists per contest. They are recording six threes per game combined.
With this win, the Bulls are on winning tracks again after losing to the Wizards, improving the record to 10-14. They have put an end to a four-game winning streak of the New Orleans Pelicans. LaVine and White wrote history, but there is enough room left in the season for more record-breaking games.
