After taking part in the league-changing trade, Caris LeVert was ready to play for the Pacers. The night before his debut, shocking news trembled the NBA. Caris LeVert is out indefinitely because a “small mas” was found on his left kidney via an MRI.
By moving from the Brooklyn Nets’ bench to the starting lineup in Indiana Pacers, the young guard has made a huge leap in his career. Unfortunately, we will have to wait for his debut for a while. After diagnosing a small mass, Caris said that he is hoping to join the team as soon as he can. He also thanked the Pacers for their support and guidance.
The Pacers’ message to LeVert
The Pacers President of Basketball Operations Kevin Pritchard added: “We acquired Caris because of who he is as a young man first and foremost. His basketball skill and on-court play speak for itself, and we know he has a great career ahead of him. We will support Caris through this time and know that he will join us on the court as soon as he is able.” With this, the Pacers proved that they will wait for his recovery as long as they need to. Indiana Pacers didn’t provide any additional pieces of information about the diagnosis.
Before the MRI and the absence, Caris LeVert was averaging 18.5 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and 6 APG, along with 1.1 steals per game, demonstrating his efficiency on both sides of the court. We all hope that this „small mass“ will not keep the former second-round pick away from the floor for too long and that he will be back to the roster very soon.
Even though Caris LeVert is out indefinitely, the Indiana Pacers (8-5) are doing fine at the moment, and they will be only stronger when he returns.
