STREAK OVER IN SERIE A!

AC Milan winning streak is over.

It was “big match” Wednesday. Certainly it provided a lot to talk about. Hence, In this episode, I look back at said action. In Italy, the streak is over as AC Milan lost their first match this season against title holders Juventus. In England, Manchester City books their place in the Carabao Cup final after beating their city rivals in Manchester United.

While in laliga, Barcelona managed to cover some ground at the top. They defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-3 in a game that was more unbalanced than the score suggests.

AC Milan lose, so does Inter and Napoli!

Chiesa was the star of the show!

Serie A witnessed a stacked matchday fixture, and it was certainly eventful. Inter lost away to Sampdoria, throwing away a major chance to top the standings. Atalanta, Roma, and Lazio came away with the 3 points. While Napoli squandered a lead against a 10-man Spezia to lose 1-2 at home.

However, the big tagline is AC Milan’ streak being over at the hands of Pirlo’s Juventus. With all the injuries that Milan had, it is pretty justified why Juventus outclassed their opponents as the game went on.

This victory is very important for Juventus, getting their momentum back and closing down on the top two. With the game in hand against Napoli, this might be Juventus’ time to strike back in the Scudetto race.

Finally, STREAK OVER IN SERIE A!!

Realistic Guardiola strikes again!

Realistic Guardiola is Great!

In the Carabao Cup, Manchester City beat Manchester United in a realistic fashion by 2-0 to join Tottenham in the final. Guardiola once again was more realistic than usual, getting the job done to maximum effect.

United’s defending was bad once again, especially on set-pieces. While the first half was tight to an extent, OGS’ side could not cope with the overwhelming quality in front of them.

Maybe this loss is a reality check for the Man United fans before facing Liverpool a couple of days later.

Job done For Barcelona!

Barcelona with the win!

In Spain, and while Copa Del Rey was taking place, Barcelona made the trip to face Athletic Bilbao. Ronald Koeman’s outfit managed to get the 3 points to cover some ground on the top two.

Messi, and more particularly Pedri, were the stars of the show.
