We’re giving you Europa League Betting Tip for the four most intriguing games of the final qualification phase as 42 teams are fighting to enter the group stage.
Molde are facing a tough task against Partizan
Molde managed to score one goal in Belgrade in the opening leg, and it was the leading one, but Partizan answered with a couple of their own. Partizan were better and deservedly secured a minimal 2-1 victory; however, it’s going to be a wide-open affair tonight.
Unlike the visitors who didn’t play the domestic game last weekend, Molde did, and perhaps that will reflect on their display. They need they have to score at least one goal and not to concede, but that is going to be hard considering Partizan’s form. In fact, they failed to find the back of the net just once this season. Although Molde managed to keep their net intact in the previous two Europa League qualifiers at home, I am backing BTTS at 1.80 (-125).
AZ must score in Belgium
AZ Alkmaar are travelling to Belgium to face Antwerp following a 1-1 draw in the first leg. The visitors know they have to score here, and will be looking to get the opening goal. Antwerp recorded a clean sheet in the last two home matches, but this is a do or die situation for the Dutch side, and I don’t think the hosts will keep them away from scoring.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this encounter also ends 1-1, so the penalty shootout is definitely on the cards. After opening the season with seven games in which only one team scored, AZ finally played a BTTS match last week against Antwerp, and I am going with another BTTS at 1.80 (-125).
Gent are hoping to preserve a minimal lead in Croatia
Rijeka are welcoming Gent after the Belgians booked a 2-1 win in the opening leg, and this tilt has a potential to be a high-scoring one. Gent failed to score an away goal only once in the last 15 matches while Rijeka kept the clean sheet in one of four home games this season, and it was against poor Aberdeen in the previous round of qualifiers.
Even though a 1-0 scoreline would be enough for the Croatians to advance to the group stage, I don’t think the visitors will fire blanks in this one. We must not forget that Rijeka had only one attempt on target and scored in the first leg, so they can consider themselves lucky for scoring even that one goal. It’s going to be a whole different story in front of their own fans, but still, my Europa League Betting Tip for this encounter is BTTS at 1.80 (-125).
Torino are looking to hand Wolves their first defeat of the season
Wolves are in a commanding position following a 3-2 victory in the first leg in Italy, but Torino will definitely try to score a couple of goals here. Torino were a better side in the opening meeting but allowed three goals from three attempts on target, which is devastating for goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.
The luck could turn its back to Wolves tonight, though, and the Italians could progress to the group stage if they repeat performance from a week ago. Both teams saw goals on each end in their respective previous three matches and given they produced five in Torino; I am going with BTTS at 1.80 (-125) here as well.
