•    HJK Helsinki vs. Crvena Zvezda

•    AIK vs. Maribor

•    Qarabag vs. Dundalk

•    Rosenborg vs. BATE

•    FC Copenhagen vs. TNS

Today’s offer is not as rich as it was on Tuesday. Crvena Zvezda and FC Copenhagen shouldn’t have problems to secure their place in the third qualifying round after 2-0 wins over HJK and TNS, respectively, while three other duels are still wide open. We’re giving you our betting preview and picks for AIK vs. Maribor and Rosenborg vs. BATE.

Maribor Hoping to Defend the Minimal Lead in Sweden

The Slovenian champions were a better side in the opening leg of the UEFA Champions League Second Qualifying Round as they beat AIK 2-1. Rok Kronaveter and Sasa Ivkovic scored for the Purples while Henok Goitom scored AIK’s only goal as all three goals arrived in the first 45 minutes.

AIK are favorites at 1.95 (-105) to get a victory here, and they have a solid home record of late, winning the last three matches and scoring at least two goals in each. They managed to eliminate Ararat in the previous round following a 2-1 defeat in the opening leg, defeating them 3-1 at Friends Arena.

Although they allowed just four goals in ten home games so far in Swedish Allsvenskan, AIK’s defense is not as dominant in the Champions League. It is an excellent opportunity for the Slovenians to score here. Maribor will surely get a few chances to advance to the next round as AIK must attack and go for a win in this one.

However, Maribor’s away form is a bit concerning as they won only one of the previous five games on the road. The good news for the visitors is the fact they found the back of the net in each of their last 11 away matches, but they also kept the net intact in one of those 11 games, and that’s why my betting tip for this clash is both teams to score. Despite being without last season’s top scorer, Luka Zahovic, Maribor showed they could score.

My Pick: BTTS at 2.10 (+110)

BATE are Unbeaten in Nine Straight Games

Same as AIK, the Norwegian champions Rosenborg are trailing 2-1 after the first leg in Belarus, but they know they can advance to the next stage with a minimal, 1-0 victory here. The Troll Children were on a five-game winning run before that defeat, and even though they pretty much controlled the opening leg, attempting 17 shots (six on target), BATE proved to be more clinical on the other end.

Anders Konradsen’s goal gave Rosenborg hope they can progress in front of their fans, and the midfielder scored five goals in the last three games, so he is the man to watch in this encounter. Rosenborg scored ten goals in the previous three home matches, conceding only one in return. It will be surprising if they fail to get at least one today.

BATE, on the other hand, are unbeaten in the previous nine games, but they are struggling to record a clean sheet lately, allowing a goal in seven of those nine matches. Six games in that span produced goals on both sides and over 2.5 goals, so I expect to see another exciting affair here.

Rosenborg are 1.60 (-167) favorites to get a victory, but considering they conceded two in the opening leg, they need to attack from the start. That will surely leave space for BATE to pose a threat on the counter and given their goal-scoring form at the moment, I am backing the visitors to bag a goal at Lerkendal Stadion. Although many of you will likely go with Rosenborg’s win here, my betting pick is both teams to score at attractive odds.

My Pick: BTTS at 2.20 (+120)

Use these two bets as two singles, so in case we lose one, you’d still make a bit of profit. The braver bettors can go with a double, but your betting stake should be lower. Stay with us for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League betting preview and picks as we’re preparing a lot of interesting duels.
