Daily Football Betting Preview and Picks for Sunday, July 28, 2019

Posted by

With a few more leagues starting this weekend, betting-on-football season is slowly enhancing, so let’s take a look at three very interesting matchups set for Sunday, July 28, 2019. Likewise, stay tuned for more football betting tips and predictions for Sunday’s games.

KFUM Oslo vs. Raufoss

While KFUM Oslo dropped two games in a row, losing to Aalesund and Ull/Kisa with an identical 4-2 result, Raufoss is riding a three-game winning streak. Raufoss is sitting at the 4th spot of the Norway OBOS-ligaen at the moment five points ahead of the 6th-places KFUM Oslo.

Raufoss’ last five games had three or more goals in the total, while four of KFUM Oslo’s previous five contests had three or more goals on the scoreboard. Also, ten of Raufoss’ 14 games and nine of Oslo’s 14 contests this season saw at least three goals in the total.

Interestingly, four of the last five head-to-head duels saw fewer than three goals in the total. Considering the teams’ current form, I think we’ll see a high-scoring affair this Sunday.

My Pick: Over 2.5 Goals at 1.50

Regensburg vs. Bochum

The German 2. Bundesliga started this past Friday and the first round brings the clash between Regensburg and Bochum that promises some goals. Betting on the first-round games is always a tricky job, but I think these two foes will produce at least three goals in the total.

Last season, Regensburg defeated Bochum 2-1 at home, while the clash in Bochum was finished in a 3-3 stalemate. Also, four of Regensburg and Bochum’s last five friendlies saw three or more goals in the total.

My Pick: Over 2.5 Goals at 1.65

FC Astana vs. Taraz

FC Astana is coming off a disappointing nil-nil draw at Santa Coloma in the Europa League qualifiers this past Tuesday. The reigning champions are sitting at the second spot of the Kazakh Premier League at the moment, while Taraz is laying in the relegation zone.

Astana has won six of its last seven meetings with Taraz and ten of 11 head-to-head duels in Nur-Sultan. Taraz lost seven of its previous ten showings on the road, while Astana lost three of its previous five outings at home.

Hereof, I think the reigning champs won’t allow another upset, looking to bounce back from a poor performance in the Europa League. Betting on the hosts seems like a sure shot, but the odds are not attractive at all.

My Pick: FC Astana to Win and Over 1.5 Goals at 1.50
