The Swiss Super League begins this Friday, as well as the Serbian Linglong Tire Super Liga, the Croatian First Football League, and the Polish Ekstraklasa. The action has already started in Denmark, Slovenia, Russia, and the Czech Republic so that the bettors will have a lot of fun this weekend.

Hereof, we’ll take a look at the most intriguing betting trends of the day and provide you all must-read betting tips and predictions.

FC Copenhagen vs. AGF Aarhus

FC Copenhagen defeated AGF Aarhus in six straight head-to-head meetings at Telia Parken in Copenhagen. Five of these six tilts saw three or more goals in the total, while FC Copenhagen scored exactly four goals in the previous three encounters.

Also, Aarhus couldn’t beat Copenhagen in the previous 23 duels overall. Aarhus started the season with a 1-1 stalemate at Hobro, while Copenhagen overcame Odense 3-2 on the road. Five of Aarhus’ last eight outings on the road and five of Copenhagen’s previous six showings at home saw three or more goals in the total.

Copenhagen is a 1.40 fave to win, but I would rather take the totals. Aarhus scored in five of its previous seven visits to Telia Parken.

My Pick: Over 2.5 Goals (1.60)

FC Sion vs. Basel

The opening game of the new season in Switzerland will see FC Sion hosting the 20-time champions Basel. Last year, Basel won all its four Super League meetings with Sion, and three of those four games had three or more goals in the total.

Sion played five friendlies over the last three weeks, recording five draws in the process, and four ties were goalless. On the other side, all Basel’s five friendlies saw four or more goals in the total.

Three of Sion’s last five outings at home and Basel’s previous five outings on the road saw three or more goals in the total. It’s always a tricky job to bet on the opener, but I would take the over on the totals.

My Pick: Over 2.5 Goals (1.70)

Bad Gleichenberg vs. Vorwarts Steyr

The Austrian Cup starts Friday with round-of-64 matchups, and I think there will be some goals in the clash between Regionalliga Central member Bad Gleichenberg and 2. Liga side Vorwarts Steyr.

Two years ago, these two teams met each other in Regionalliga Central, and Steyr defeated Bad Gleichenberg in both duels – 2-1 at home and 8-1 on the road. The visitors are 1.90 favorites to win the game in the regulation time and proceed to the next round.

Bad Gleichenberg won six straight games at home, scoring 22 goals in that span. On the other hand, they kept the net intact just twice in the previous 15 outings at home, while six of their last ten home games saw four or more goals in the total.

Four of Vorwarts Steyr’s last five games had four or more goals in the total, and Steyr allowed two or more goals in six straight outings on the road excluding friendlies. I expect to see a high-scoring affair with both teams finding the net.

My Pick: Over 3.5 Goals (1.85)
