2019-20 UEFA Europa League First Qualifying Round Betting Preview and Picks (Part 2)

Even 86 teams will take part in the UEFA Europa League First Qualifying Round 1st Leg on Thursday, and in the following article, we will present you our selection of 22 most exciting games of the day. This is the second part of our list, so have a look at next six encounters.

The Maltese cup winners, Balzan, are welcoming Domzale at the national stadium in Ta’ Qali, but they are massive underdogs against a more experienced side when it comes to European matches. The Slovenians already played five friendly games this summer and won four of them, keeping the net intact in three. The last four were against stronger teams than Balzan, so I am backing the visitors to get a win at 1.45 (-222).

One of the most intriguing games will be played in Macedonia between Akademija Pandev and Bosnian side Zrinjski. There are no clear favorites in this one, and it could go either way, so it’s difficult to predict a winner. Both teams scored in each of Akademija Pandev’s last five matches while that occurred in six of Zrinjski’s previous eight, and that’s why I am backing BTTS at 2.00 (+100).

The Norwegian side Brann are clear favorites as they welcome Shamrock Rovers, but the odds jumped from 1.33 (-303) to 1.50 (-200), so I am a bit of suspicious about this one. I’d skip betting on Brann to win; however, you can add it on your acca because the odds are not worthy of a single bet. Brann haven’t conceded a goal in the last two home games, and I am not sure whether they’ll score more than two, and under 3.5 goals at 1.33 (-303) seems like a sure shot to me.

B36 Torshavn are traveling to Northern Ireland to face Crusaders who won all three friendly games this summer, managing to even beat Scottish side Motherwell in the process. The Faroe Islands side shouldn’t represent big trouble to the hosts, and the 1.70 odds are quite appealing to avoid. Back Crusaders to win on your single bet.

The Albanian cup winners Kukesi will have a tough job to stay unbeaten at Nagyerdei Stadion in Debrecen against the team that scored at least two goals in each of their last five games. Debrecen are particularly good at home, and anything but the Hungarians victory here would be surprising. Another sure shot at 1.40 (-250).

We’ll close this part of our list with a clash between Maccabi Haifa and Slovenian side Mura. The hosts are favorites at 1.40 (-250) and considering they kept their net intact in the last two friendly games against Belgian oppositions; I don’t think Mura stand a chance in Israel. I am going with Maccabi’s win here.
