The lower leagues across Scandinavia are an interesting option to wager on, considering we are in the slow betting period. There are 20 games in Sweden Division 1 and Division 2 on Thursday, June 20, 2019, so let’s take a look at our best bets.
Forward vs. Karlslunds
Forward is sitting in the danger zone with 11 points and a 16:26 goal difference out of 13 games, while Karlslunds is laying at the 7th spot of the table with 20 points and a 17:13 goal difference out of their first 13 contests. Interestingly, Karlslunds suffered just one loss in that span along with four wins and eight draws.
Eight of Forward’s 13 games had three or more goals in the total including their previous four outings, while five of Karlslunds’ 13 games had three or more goals in the total. Also, five of six head-to-head duels between these two rivals saw both teams scoring and three or more goals in the total.
Forward kept its net intact just once in six outings at home this season, while Karlslunds scored in each of its five showings on the road. Hereof, I expect to see a high-scoring affair.
My Pick: Over 2.5 Goals (1.70)
IFK Lulea vs. Pitea
This will be the clash between two quite efficient teams whereas IFK Lulea scored 27 goals in 12 games this season, while Pitea bagged one goal more than their rivals. Also, both sides have been struggling at the defensive end lately. IFK Lulea kept its net intact just once in its last five outings, while Pitea conceded in each of its previous four games overall.
IFK Lulea scored 15 goals in six showings at home, and all these six games had three or more goals in the total. Pitea recorded a 15:8 goal difference in its seven contests on the road, and just three of these seven tilts saw more than a couple of goals in the total. When it comes to their H2H duels, four out of six had three or more goals in the total.
My Pick: Over 2.5 Goals (1.40)
Arameisk-Syrianska vs. Newroz
This one should be another entertaining clash between two attacking-minded teams. After the first 12 rounds in Division 2 – Sodra Svealand Arameisk-Syrianska has 17 points with a 23:12 goal difference, while Newroz earned 16 points with a 27:22 goal difference. This will be the first-ever H2H duel between these two teams.
Ten of Newroz’ 12 games and six of Arameisk-Syrianksa’s 12 contests saw three or more goals in the total. Newroz scored just five goals in its six appearances on the road, allowing 14 in a return, while Arameisk-Syrianska has a 13:4 goal difference in six home games. Considering the visitors’ fragile defense, I’m looking for a bunch of goals here.
My Pick: Over 2.5 (1.40)
Grebbestads vs. Vanersborgs IF
Considering the betting trends, we should see at least three goals on this one. The hosts are listed as massive favorites to win with the odds at 1.22, and the visitors are riding a six-game losing streak. Ten of Grebbestads’ 12 games this season had three or more goals in the total, while four of Vanersborgs’ previous five outings on the road saw at least three goals in the total.
Grebbestads couldn’t keep its net intact in all five showings at home, and the over has hit on all those five occasions. On the other side, Vanersborgs scored in four of its five games on the road this term. Also, both their H2H duels from 2017 saw at least three goals in the total.
My Pick: Over 2.5 (1.30)
